Project Overview

Collaborative project for elementary school students.

Students share information about the plants, animals and non-living objects found in their schoolyard environment.

Subject areas include: science, math, language arts, reading, geography and social studies.

I choose the Square of Life because our...science curriculum includes a FOSS Science Kit on environments.  I thought the Square of Life project would help include some supplemental materials needed for these lessons and cover more of the curriculum standards that I needed to address before the year was up.
